ABOUT OUR COMPANY
In 1981, Joseph Rice Center was founded by Mr. Joselito F. Violago as a wholesaler of Philippine milled rice in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon. The firm was the marketing arm of a family owned corporation established by Dr. Eleuterio R. Violago in 1964. Throughout the many years, the company was able to supply rice for diverse markets including major groceries, multinational companies, restaurants, and provincial retailers. Brands such as Maharlika, Anak Maharlika, Treasure Island, Pinoy Supreme, Sarap Supreme, and Conquisador are just some of the
known products that are distributed and made readily available.
By 2008, Joseph Rice Center ventured into a new agricultural market with the distribution of rice husk (also known as “ipa”) as an alternative fuel. The company is able to provide to different institutions, including but is not limited to, cement factories, tile factories,
food manufacturers as well as plastic producers.
RICE MILL BLESSING
August 9, 2014, marked the official opening of the JFV Rice Mill.
A blessing was held in the eight-hectare compound in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija with the entire JFV staff and their families present to witness the celebration. The festivities included a Holy Mass held by
Bishop Roberto C. Mallari, D.D. from the Diocese of San Jose City and
Fr. William Garcia of Holy Family Parish, a series of fun and energizing games, and a scrumptious meal served. At the end of the day, Mr. and Mrs. Joselito Violago gave an inspiring speech about the vision and hopes of the Rice Mill in the years to come.

JFV Rice Mill mission is to work in partnership with Filipino farmers to provide rice all over the Philippines and consistently produce high quality rice that meet the standards for Food Safety & Quality. We will provide our employees professional training in a quality oriented environment so that they may be the best in their fields and for the continual improvements in the company.
JFV RICE MILL
JFV Rice Mill produces a high variety of rice products including whole grain commercial rice, semi-whole grain rice, broken rice, rice bran, and rice husk. From the first step of buying rice paddy to the final end product of sacks of rice, the company takes into consideration the welfare of all stakeholders - farmers, laborers, staff, and various consumers.
The company thinks about the benefit of local farmers by providing a reasonable price system to ensure high profit for their harvest. It trains its employees to practice transparency and accountability at all times. More importantly, JFV Rice Mill implements a production system
that maximizes yield without sacrificing quality content.
